What we expect
Be kind. Encourage progress. Assume good faith. Respect that people come from different backgrounds, body types, abilities, and starting points. RiseRally is for adults and supervised minors aged 13+ — content and behavior should be appropriate for that audience.
Prohibited content and behavior
The following are not allowed anywhere on RiseRally — in profiles, group workouts, challenges, chat, AI coach prompts, or trainer-client messages:
- Harassment, bullying, and threatsTargeted abuse, intimidation, stalking, doxxing, body shaming, threats of physical or emotional harm, or repeated unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop.
- Hate speechContent that attacks or dehumanizes a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or serious medical condition.
- Violence and self-harmGlorification or incitement of violence against any person or group. Content promoting eating disorders, extreme dieting, or self-harm. Encouragement of unsafe training that ignores injury, recovery, or medical advice.
- Sexual contentSexually explicit images, descriptions, or solicitations. Content that sexualizes minors in any way is strictly prohibited and reported to authorities.
- Illegal activityCoordination, promotion, or sale of illegal drugs (including non-prescribed PEDs / steroids), counterfeit goods, weapons, or any other unlawful conduct.
- Spam, scams, and impersonationUnsolicited advertising, MLM recruitment, fake giveaways, phishing, off-platform payment schemes that bypass our trainer billing, or impersonating another person, trainer, brand, or RiseRally staff.
- Misrepresentation of credentialsFalsely claiming certifications, medical or fitness qualifications, or trainer status. Trainers must hold valid certifications where required by their jurisdiction.
- Unauthorized data extractionScraping, automated crawling, or any attempt to extract user data, exercise data, or ML model outputs outside the documented API.
How to report a violation
If you see content or behavior that breaks these rules, tell us. Reports are reviewed by our trust & safety team and treated confidentially.
Removal timeline and what happens next
We aim to act on reports quickly:
- Within 24 hours — Triage of every report. Clear violations of imminent-harm categories (threats, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, credible self-harm risk) are removed and the account is suspended pending review.
- Within 7 days — Most other reports reviewed and acted on. Outcomes range from a private warning, content removal, feature restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity and history.
- Notification — Reporting users receive an outcome update. Reported users are notified of any action taken on their account and have the right to appeal by replying to the notice.
Repeat-offender policy
We take a graduated approach for non-egregious violations: warning → temporary mute or feature restriction → temporary suspension → permanent ban. Severe violations (threats of violence, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, hate speech that targets protected groups, payment fraud) result in immediate permanent ban on first offense.
Permanently banned accounts may not return on a new account. Attempts to evade a ban — including creating new accounts, signing up with a different email, or asking another person to sign up on your behalf — will result in those accounts being terminated as well.
Trainers and clients
Trainers on the RiseRally platform are independent contractors and must follow these guidelines plus the trainer-specific clauses in our Terms of Service. Trainers must not pressure clients, make medical claims they aren't qualified to make, attempt to bypass platform billing, or share client data outside the platform. Clients can end a trainer relationship at any time from the trainer page.
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, reply to the action notification or email support@riserally.com within 30 days. Include your account email, the action you're appealing, and any context we should know. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
Updates
These guidelines may be updated as the community grows and new patterns emerge. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice and email. The latest version is always at riserally.com/community-guidelines.html.
